The position
As an Operational Excellence Manager at Aarke, you will be a key driver of efficiency and innovation at Aarke. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across the organization. Using data analysis and cross-functional collaboration, you will create actionable business cases to support initiatives ranging from process optimization to technology integration, supply chain enhancements, and vendor onboarding. The role will involve managing projects from inception to execution and handing over successful initiatives to internal teams for ongoing management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify improvement opportunities: Use data analysis, business acumen, and cross-department collaboration to pinpoint areas for operational efficiency improvements.
- Lead cross-functional projects: Oversee the implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and smooth handover to internal teams. Projects can range across process improvements, supply chain optimizations, vendor onboarding, application integrations, and more.
- Build business cases: Develop detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and projected ROI, to justify and prioritize operational changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure that initiatives meet both business and operational needs.
- Drive data-based decision-making: Use quantitative analysis and reporting tools to track project outcomes and ensure that all initiatives are data-driven and measurable.
- Process optimization: Identify and implement best practices in operational processes, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Application onboarding/integrations: Manage the adoption and integration of new technologies, ensuring they align with Aarke’s operational strategy, operational processes, and day-to-day business.
- Logistics and services provider onboarding: Optimize the supplier onboarding process to ensure timely and efficient supplier integration into Aarke’s supply chain.
- Continuous improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making and ensuring that the organization is always evolving and improving its operations.
You will report to the CIO.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role we believe that you are an agile and solution-oriented professional, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments while adapting to changing priorities based on business objectives. With strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, you leverage data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. You possess expertise in process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, and have a clear ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
You bring a deep understanding of ERP systems, recognizing how they integrate with financial, order management, and inventory processes, both upstream and downstream. Your excellent project management skills allow you to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and you are familiar with basic e-commerce workflows and platforms, ensuring smooth business operations.
On a personal level, you are autonomous, thriving on trust and accountability while ensuring strategic discussions with your superiors. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you excel at working across teams and departments to drive project success. Proactivity is at your core, as you consistently identify areas for improvement and take action. You are data-driven, supporting your recommendations with solid evidence.

Profile
- 5-7 years in roles encompassing operational excellence, process improvement, or similar, preferably in a consumer product business in an international context.
- Proven experience managing complex projects, leading cross-functional teams, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to handover.
- In-depth understanding of ERP systems: Familiarity with the information flow and financial flows of orders, inventory, and products within ERP systems and supply chain IT.
- Experience with system integrations, particularly in supply chain processes (e.g., order management, warehouse management systems, financial reporting).
- Strong background in supply chain operations and vendor management.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of e-commerce operations and how they integrate with overall supply chain processes. And further understanding platform and system in order to provide
