PR & Marketing Intern
ABOUT AARKE
Aarke is a Swedish design company redefining everyday kitchen appliances through premium materials, engineering, and timeless design. Founded in 2013, we are on a mission to re(de)fine the home appliances industry — combining Scandinavian design, exceptional quality, and top-tier materials in a category often overlooked by the design community.
Our flagship product, the Aarke Carbonator, has earned a devoted global following with customers in more than 30 countries. As we continue to scale internationally and expand into new product categories, we are looking for sharp, hands-on people to grow with us.
THE POSITION
We design products for everyday rituals. Your job: help the world hear about them. Our PR work is global, with agencies in the Nordics, DACH and the US, and distributors across several markets. As PR & Marketing Intern, you’ll work closely with our PR & Community Manager on media relations, influencer marketing and affiliate. A role for someone who wants to grow in PR and marketing, in an international setting.
This internship is preferably carried out as part of a formal internship arrangement connected to your studies. The scope and duration are therefore adapted to this period. Please note that the position is unpaid.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the press inbox and media outreach. Pitch to, and build relationships with, journalists and editors.
Manage the logistics behind PR samples and press products.
Support our influencer marketing: find the right creators, reach out, handle gifting, follow up and report on results.
Track and report media coverage and organic social.
Coordinate and support day-to-day PR and marketing, both in-house and with our agencies.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
You’re studying PR, communications, marketing, journalism or similar, and the internship is part of your programme. Or you’ve recently graduated and are looking for an internship in the field.
You have drive, structure and a solution-oriented mindset. Equally at home in a team as taking initiative on your own.
You write and speak Swedish and English fluently.
You’re detail-oriented and comfortable juggling several things at once.
Nice to have
Previous experience in PR, communications or marketing, through internships, part-time work or projects.
Confident in Google Workspace, with a good understanding of the media landscape, social media and influencer marketing.
WHY AARKE
At Aarke you get to work with consumer products that people genuinely love — and play a central role in shaping what those products look like, how they perform, and how they reach the market globally. We are a small, hands-on team where your work has real impact and visibility.
We offer a collaborative environment, strong learning opportunities, and the chance to grow within a fast-scaling international company. Our headquarters is in central Stockholm, Vasastan.
WHAT NOW?
Please submit your application through career.aarke.com/jobs. We review applications continuously. While we welcome all applications, we will at this stage primarily prioritise candidates who are able to start their internship from January 2027.
