We are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team on a substitute employment from February 2026 to April 2027.

 Role & Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant at Aarke, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, related to the Swedish parent company as well as our subsidiaries in UK and US.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and optimize efficiency.

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

• Conducting regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.

• You will work closely with and report to Aarke’s Head of Accounting, Controllers and CFO.

Qualifications & Skills

Whilst not all required, to excel in this role, we believe you possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• A few years of experience as an Accountant, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

• Interest and knowledge of accounting principles.

• Good IT skills. Especially valuable:

• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Formerly Navision), our ERP & Finance software.

• Microsoft 365 (Formerly Microsoft Office), most important Excel, Outlook.

• High analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Fluency in English and significant business proficiency in Swedish related to understanding accounting matters.
