Reverse Logistics & Service Specialist
We are Aarke
Aarke is a Swedish design company dedicated to creating premium home essentials that elevate the everyday for people around the world. Since our founding in 2013, we’ve been on a mission to redefine the home appliances industry by merging Scandinavian design, exceptional quality, and top-tier materials - areas often overlooked in this space.
Our almost iconic flagship product, the Aarke Carbonator, has garnered a loyal global following, with customers in more than 30 countries. Through thoughtful craftsmanship and attention to detail, Aarke continues to expand into new product categories, setting a new standard for modern home appliances. Alongside new products, we are equally focused on growing and expanding into new markets, ensuring that Aarke is present wherever our customers are.
We are looking for a Reverse Logistics & Service Specialist to join our Operations team, responsible for managing products after sale, including returns, service, and repair.
Role Overview
The Reverse Logistics & Service Specialist is responsible for how Aarke manages products after sale, including returns, service, repair, refurbishment, and reintegration into circulation.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role will establish and operate Aarke’s reverse logistics and service function with a primary focus on product quality, circularity, and sustainability. The position combines operational responsibility with process development and requires close collaboration with Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and external partners.
The role involves taking clear ownership of the defined area with a high degree of independence, building structure where processes, data, or ownership are unclear. It combines hands-on operational involvement with continuous improvement and a collaborative, cross-functional way of working. The role also includes raising concerns when product quality or sustainability is impacted and making well-considered decisions with a long-term perspective.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end reverse logistics and service processes.
Define and operate product triage and recovery, increasing the proportion of products returned to circulation as A-stock or B-stock in line with established quality standards.
Develop and maintain service and refurbishment processes that are reliable and scalable.
Analyse service and return data to identify recurring issues and support improvements in product design, sourcing, and usage guidance.
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
Establish standards for repairability, refurbishment, and circular product flows.
Background & Qualifications
Relevant higher education in engineering, operations, supply chain management, industrial management, or a related field.
Experience within service operations, reverse logistics, quality, or after-sales processes for physical consumer products.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical capability and confidence working with operational systems, data, and performance metrics.
Experience working with external partners and suppliers.
