CLV & Subscription Owner
About Aarke
Aarke is a Swedish design company redefining everyday kitchen appliances through premium materials, engineering, and timeless design.
Behind the design is a growing global customer base and an expanding product ecosystem. From our iconic Carbonator to water filters, CO2 consumables, and future kitchen categories, Aarke is building a connected portfolio designed to work together — and to keep customers coming back.
As we scale internationally, recurring revenue is becoming one of our most important growth levers. We are now looking for someone to own that engine: not just the tools and campaigns, but the commercial logic, the model, and the metrics that drive customer lifetime value.
The position
As CLV & Subscription Owner, you will be responsible for Aarke’s recurring revenue business as a commercial discipline — not just as a CRM function. You will own the strategy and execution across subscriptions, consumable repurchase, cross-sell, and retention, with a direct impact on customer lifetime value and long-term revenue predictability.
This means understanding the business model deeply: which customer segments have the highest LTV, how subscription and on-demand purchasing interact, how we price and package recurring offerings, and where we lose customers and why. CRM, lifecycle flows, and automation are tools you will use — not the job itself.
You will collaborate closely with the E-commerce and creative teams, taking ownership of retention logic across all post-purchase communication — including newsletters, lifecycle flows, and automation — ensuring every touchpoint contributes to measurable growth.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who is both strategic and operational - used to driving business, not just advising on it. You have built recurring revenue in a scale-up environment and know that real impact comes from execution, ownership, and delivering measurable results.
Your main responsibilities
Own the recurring revenue P&L — track, report, and continuously improve revenue from subscriptions, consumables, and repeat purchases across markets.
Define and drive the CLV strategy: cohort analysis, retention modeling, repeat purchase rate targets, and cross-sell prioritization across the product portfolio.
Develop and scale our subscription business — improving the subscription experience, pricing logic, and conversion from on-demand to recurring.
Build and optimize automated workflows to drive cross-sell and upsell, increasing customer adoption across the Aarke ecosystem.
Own and drive the performance of email campaigns, newsletters, and automated lifecycle flows, ensuring they are effective, scalable, and aligned with overall retention strategy.
Identify structural opportunities in the business model: new subscription formats, bundle offers, replenishment timing, loyalty mechanics.
Analyse performance continuously — retention curves, churn drivers, LTV by cohort, channel, and market — and translate findings into opportunities and commercial decisions.
Leverage automation and modern tooling, including AI-based solutions, to scale operations and improve efficiency across recurring revenue workflows.
Own and scale review collection across platforms, increasing review volume to strengthen trust, conversion, and long-term customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional support within ecommerce and customer communication, we are a small team and help each other.
Who are you?
You are someone who thinks about recurring revenue as a business model challenge, not a marketing channel challenge. You are comfortable with data and commercial logic, and you can move between strategic framing and hands-on execution. You are curious, structured, and driven by measurable outcomes.
Your qualifications include:
3–6 years of experience in recurring revenue, subscription business, lifecycle marketing or e-commerce
Strong analytical skills: comfortable with cohort analysis, LTV modeling and turning data into business decisions.
Experience with cross-selling, subscription or consumables businesses
Familiarity with CRM and e-commerce platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Shopify)
Experience of streamlining and automating repetitive tasks and processes using modern tools, including AI-based solutions.
Experience with automation tools (e.g. Make, Zapier, or similar) is a big plus.
A degree in business, e-commerce, economics, or a related field is a plus.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a merit.
Why Aarke?
By joining Aarke, you take ownership of one of our important growth areas at a moment when the recurring revenue model is still being shaped. You will have real commercial accountability and help define what “customer lifetime value” means in practice for a global premium brand – and execute on it.
We offer a collaborative environment, strong learning opportunities, and the chance to grow within a fast-scaling international company.
